While Diamondback has generated excitement from coast-to-coast, perhaps no roller coaster enthusiast in the country is more excited about Kings Island's new $22 million steel monster than Detroit, Michigan native Jess Novak.
"I'm incredibly excited," Novak said. "Diamondback is exactly what Kings Island has needed for years. It's big, it's fast and it's steel. The people that visit Kings Island that have never been on a B&M coaster before, they're going to be completely blown away by this ride!"
Novak, a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts since 1982, has ridden literally hundreds of roller coasters, including all of the top ranked coasters in North America. For his money, nothing beats the ride experience a B&M coaster delivers.
"B&M coasters are the best, bar none," he said. "Their coasters work perfectly. They're incredibly smooth and provide consistent thrills."
April 18 can't come fast enough for Novak and his wife, Kathy.
"What a present Kings Island has given enthusiasts like me!" he said. "Diamondback is going to be a fabulous ride. I can't wait to ride it!"
